Once again Highland Heroes will give thanks our healthcare heroes.
The award for healthcare hero of the year will be an individual within the healthcare sector who has provided a service above and beyond the call of duty, improving or making an impact on the quality of life for others.

Family-run flooring and furniture shop, and fitting specialist, Inverness Flooring is sponsoring the award for healthcare hero.
Business owners Amber Rickard and Kevin Mackenzie said the business was fully behind the awards and was proud to sponsor the category of healthcare hero. “Our healthcare services do an amazing job and one that we all need to depend on throughout our lives. And as recent years have shown, when called upon, they don’t hesitate, they meet the challenge head on and support anyone who needs them.
“They always go above and beyond what their job description requires and they do it with great care and kindness. This award goes some way to recognise and say thank you for their tremendous dedication and hard work. We’re delighted to sponsor the healthcare hero award and urge everyone to nominate the heroes in their community.”
Sponsored once again by Inverness Airport, Highland Heroes feature 14 categories where you can nominate individuals or groups in your community who you feel have gone above and beyond to support and care for others.

- Volunteer

Once all of your nominations are in, our judging panel will create a shortlist for you to vote for your Highland Heroes of 2023!
There is also a very special accolade which will be presented at the awards ceremony at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on Friday March 10, 2023. The hero of heroes will be decided by our judges from all of the winners at the ceremony and revealed on the night!
