Highland Heroes 2023: Nominate the inaugural green hero
A brand new award will feature in Highland Heroes 2023 celebrating those who are helping to make our communities more environmentally friendly.
The green hero award, sponsored by SSE Renewables, will be presented to an individual who is helping to create a cleaner, greener future.

SSE Renewables director of onshore development and construction, Heather Donald, said: “SSE Renewables is delighted to sponsor the inaugural green hero award at the Highland Heroes awards for 2023. As a green energy champion we are aiming to increase the amount of renewable energy we produce five-fold by 2031. It will be fantastic to play our part in recognising an individual who is making a real difference in the critical challenge to reach net zero.”
