BBC's series two of The Traitors continues.

Previously on The Traitors, 22 contestants took part in the ultimate murder mystery game in the hope of winning up to £120,000.

But concealed amongst them are the traitors, whose job is to secretly murder the others without getting caught, and if they make it to the end, they will take all of the money.

As suspicions circulated, and accusations flew at the round table, it was another win for the traitors as a faithful was banished.

Tracey (58) was the first Highland faithful to be "murdered" (eliminated) in the game by the deceitful traitors, while Evie (29) continued to have a watchful eye on the group.

However, as the traitors' gameplay slipped, they were tasked with another murderous challenge. But, will the traitors manage to "murder" a fellow faithful in plain sight?

Miles (36) "poisoned" (eliminated from the game) Diane (63) as he served her a drink from the poisoned chalice. What the traitors don't know is the poison doesn't work with immediate effect.

At breakfast everyone returned, including Diane, to which the traitors were shocked to see.

Miles said: "I thought she would be dead!"

Harry (22), who is also a traitor, added: "What was Diane doing there, did we murder the wrong person?"

Everyone around the breakfast table was flabbergasted to realise no one had been murdered that night, until the show's host Claudia Winkleman revealed another twist.

The remaining contestants soon found out that by the end of the day, someone would be murdered.

Conspiracies started to cause a divide as to who was "murdered" in plain sight. However, it was soon time for the players' next mission.

The contestants were tasked to take a long slow walk that led them to the victim's (Diane) resting place.

If the group could correctly work out which player had been poisoned before they were buried, then £7000 would be added to the prize pot.

On route there was a series of questions that helped the players along the way. If they answered correctly, it revealed which players had not been poisoned and they were then able to leave the challenge.

As Jasmine (26) won a shield in the previous challenge she was exempt from the traitors' murderous antics.

Evie, Paul (36) and Diane were the final three in the challenge at risk of being "murdered" and were tasked to lay down in their individual coffins.

The group guessed the poisoned player correctly and successfully added thousands to the prize fund.

It was soon time for the next banishment where the majority of the group voted for Miles.

When Miles revealed he was a traitor, the group were elated to catch their second snake in the grass.

Anticipation continues to rise as the traitors gathered to murder their next victim, but who would be next?

Harry and Paul are the game's final traitors and had the opportunity to recruit another faithful.

The traitors were then teased with the option to either recruit or kill.

The episode was left on a cliffhanger as they decided to invite a faithful to their deceitful alliance, but who did they choose and would they accept their offer to join the dark side?
