JAKE Davidson says he is looking to continue being a threat down the right wing for Caley Thistle after an impressive attacking performance in the 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle.

The full-back was Inverness Caledonian Thistle's top performer in yesterday afternoon's clash at Firhill as he created a number of chances for his teammates going forward, in an impressive attacking display.

Davidson says despite playing in the back line, also thinks he can be just as effective going forward, as shown by his performance on the right wing against Partick.

"In the second half especially we were really good," reflected Davidson on yesterday's draw.

"The joy that I got down the right hand side, I think that role suits me."

He added: "I have definitely settled and i'm enjoying playing at the club.

"The gaffer has been brilliant with everyone, he is clear with what he wants, particularly in possession."

Read: Manager Duncan Ferguson also praised Davidson's performance against Partick Thistle, especially how he played in the second half.

Davidson felt Inverness could have won the game at Firhill on Saturday, due to their attacking performance in the second half.

But he feels a point at Partick Thistle was still a decent result.

"We had a couple of shouts near the end that should have went our way, but it is good for the boys to come down here and play the way we did.

"At Morton we didn't play well at all, but against Arbroath, we were unlucky and the gaffer was telling us that this week.

"It is all about keeping that performance level high."
