Roar of engines as classic and vintage vehicles descend upon Inverness City Centre

Inverness City Centre is abuzz with the sound of revving engines and motor enthusiasm today with the start of this year’s Inverness Classic Vehicle Show.

Festivities kicked off at 11am, as this year’s unique collection of classic and vintage vehicles, spanning various eras, descended upon the city centre of the Highland capital.

This year’s remarkable showcase of over 170 classic cars, bikes, military vehicles, vans, tractors and the iconic MacBrayne's bus are on show.

The show extends along Church Street (upper and lower), High Street, Inglis Street, Drummond Street and Falcon Square, where show goers are also being treated to street entertainment, offering fun for all the family.

The shopping centre is also hosting entertainment and childrens’ face painting, and the Victorian Market has live music providing entertainment for all.

Attendees are now looking forward to the highlight of the day — the show’s spectacular vehicle parade, which is set to begin at 3pm along Inverness High Street.

The parade will be led by the City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band.
