SEAN Welsh could be set to leave Inverness Caledonian Thistle after it has been reported he is in talks to join Championship rivals Queen's Park.
The Daily Record have reported that the 33-year-old has been given permission from manager Duncan Ferguson to travel to Hampden to hold talks with new Queen's Park manager Callum Davidson.
Welsh is out of contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the end of the season and could be allowed to go during the January transfer window for a fee.
Welsh arrived at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2018 after previously playing in Falkirk.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have made one signing during the transfer window so far, bringing in centre back James Carragher on loan from Wigan Athletic.
Manager Duncan Ferguson has also indicated David Wotherspoon is on his way out of the club and likely to sign for Dundee United by the end of the week.
