Members of Queenspark Residents Group (QPRG) in Nairn celebrated the lead up to Christmas with a brand new song recorded by local residents.

Their cover of the popular festive song Do They Know It's Christmas was a fun team endeavour for the community as the group has launched a funding appeal to help support the group's activities.

QPRG member Alan Greer said: "We have been working hard throughout the year at QPRG in Nairn putting on many events and raising funds to improve our community.

"Our last event of 2023 was a Santa's Grotto for the local kids and what a success it was, seeing their wee faces light up.

"We wanted to finish off the year on a high and decided to record Do They Know It's Christmas for a bit of fun and at the same time raise awareness of our group.

"Everyone got together young and old and had loads of fun recording it. We hope it brings a smile to your face!"

You can find more information about the group on their official Facebook page.
