Some may have celebrated in advance last weekend, but what if you want to do something special on Halloween day?

Here are some events happening today in the area.

The Cawdor Pumpkin Patch Halloween Party

The newly-opened patch will close its first season with a big Hallooween party for families today (October 31) from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

It will feature a cosrume parade and a trick or treat trail as well as many themed games.

Tickets are £5 per child (adults go free) and can be booked at www.cawdorpatch.com/haloweenparty

Auldearn Samhain Gathering

A celebration of local heritage and culture for all the family, the Auldearn Samhain Gathering will take place on Tuesday, October 31 between 5 and 7pm at Lethen Hall and the Rose Garden Green in Auldearn – home-made dresses and lanterns welcome!

Queenspark Resident's Group's Halloween Fright Night

The group are inviting the community to celebrate Halloween with a "spooktastic evening of monster music, ghastly games and terrifying but tasty treats" on October 31st from 6pm to 9pm at John Street car park.

Children must be supervised and donations for the group are welcome.
