Staff and customers at a beauty and wellness store in Inverness had a ball celebrating its first birthday.
Rituals marked its first year at Eastgate Shopping Centre with a party involving other local businesses such as Hotel Chocolat and Loch and Larder – both providing treats for customers on the day – as well as a wheel of fortune for everyone to try their luck and special offers on the day.
It was a busy day for the shop – the seventh branch of the Danish chain to open in Scotland – who has had a great success over the past year.
Store manager Holly Anderson said it was great to be part of the community of businesses at Eastgate.
She said: "It's been a great day, loads of activities and loads of people visiting the store.
"Today we have worked with different companies for this event – it feels like we are a small community and we work together to make sure that we can get the best out of what we want to provide.
"We have been very lucky having the support of the Eastgate Centre – we have been successful in reaching our targets ad collaborating with other businesses as well.
"I believe we don't have a store like us in the shopping centre so this makes us very popular among customers.
"We can only get bigger and better from here!
"I feel that we now know that our events our successful – in the future we want to offer more hand and arm treatments and more meditation treatments and it's something we will be doing throughout the year."
