A luxury home and body care brand is celebrating the first birthday of its store inside Eastgate Shopping Centre today.

Global home and body brand Rituals opened doors of its Highland capital store in 2023, with the branch being welcomed by locals according to store manager Holly Anderson.

She said: "We have been welcomed with open arms with customers frequently telling us that we were exactly what Inverness was missing.

"It has been a great success so far where we have even received a nomination at the recent BID awards.

"We want to thank this local support by throwing a party in the store all day and celebrating with not just our customers but some local vendors as well."

Running from 12pm, the party will see other businesses such as Hotel Chocolat, Krispy Kreme and Celebrations by Claire take part – with prizes and offers for customers and Nevis the Eastgate mascot set to be in attendance.

She added that they are hoping to breathe life into the Eastgate Shopping Centre and they will hopefully be holding more of these events with more local vendors in the future.

The Inverness store was the seventh store to open in Scotland.
