Supporters of a Strictly Inverness contestant enjoyed fine wines and food during an Italian “bus trip” without leaving Inverness.
Beth Saunders, who is taking part in next month’s annual charity fundraising dance contest, held a wine tasting event at Cafe 1 in Castle Street.
The money raised by the dance contest, which takes place next month, goes to its organisers and hosts Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.

Guests on the Italian bus trip were greeted with a glass of prosecco before working their way through a programme of seven wine tastings paired with tapas ranging from citrus marinated seabass to chicken saltimboca served with sprouting broccoli and crisp fried potatoes.
The tour was led by Stuart Logan of wine and spirit merchants Inverarity Morton.
Guests also took part in a fun heads and tails competition testing their knowledge of wines and there was also an auction with prizes ranging from a joiner for a day, four tickets for Perth Races grandstand and a hat hire voucher.
The event was supported by Capstone Construction.
So far, Beth (22) - who is one of 32 dancers taking part in Strictly Inverness - has raised £20,574.48 from a range of fundraising events.
She has dedicated her involvement in dance competition to her mum Karen, who missed an opportunity to be involved in the event previously due to cancer.
