A popular landmark at a roundabout south of Inverness has reappeared with a brand new head after being taken down for repairs in summer.

The wooden statue of Nessie, which was formerly located at Holm roundabout on the Southern Distributor Road, was removed in August after its head fell off – probably due to deterioration according to Highland Council officials.

Now Holm Community council have shared a first peek at the statue with a brand new and smiling head on it.
