Police have charged a man with road traffic offences after a crash on the A835.

A MAN has been charged with road traffic offences after a crash on a Highland trunk road.

Two vehicles collided in the crash, which occurred at around 2.05pm yesterday (Tuesday) on the A835 Dingwall-Ullapool road, west of the Maryburgh roundabout.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The drivers were checked over by paramedics at the scene.

“A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with road traffic offences."
