A dedicated Inverness schoolgirl is feeling on top of the world after securing historic success in Highland dancing.

Inverness is set to be the first city in Scotland whose bus network will be operated entirely by electric vehicles.

Revellers at a popular Highland farming event were blessed by glorious sunshine, with local farmers bagging some of the prizes.

Many of those involved in the creation and official opening of the iconic structure gathered at Inverness Town House.

MORE than 500 gin lovers turned out for a festival devoted to their favourite tipple.

A dental equipment technician won a contest to name a new River Ness-side sculpture installed by Inverness Angling Club.
