FANS of Inverness Caledonian Thistle are being asked to attend an open meeting to discuss how things can be improved on matchdays at the Caledonian Stadium.

The Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust will be holding the event asking for their fans' views on the Matchday Experience Supporters Survey on Saturday afternoon.

The event will take place at the Innes Bar beer garden in Inverness, with it scheduled to take place between noon and 2.15pm.

The Trust released the results of their survey last month asking fans what could be done to improve the matchday experience.

The survey, which was conducted with the backing of the club, received feedback from 316 supporters giving their views on what they liked and didn't like at the stadium on matchdays.

It revealed positive feedback on matchdays which included personal safety inside and outside the stadium, digital ticket access and club shop experience.

The Trust also received negative feedback which included communication with the club, specifically unanswered complaints and queries.

There was also negative feedback regarding the atmosphere which included the PA system and the West Stand Roof Project.

Experience for disabled fans and the stadium car park were also highlighted as areas which required improvement.

Supporters Trust spokesman John West says this is a chance for supporters to express their views not just on the survey, but on other matters involving the club at present.

He said: "The purpose of the meeting is to highlight the conclusions of the survey but also to provide an open forum for any other matters members may wish to raise.

"The Supporters Trust have put together a survey and the results have been circulated to everyone. We want to pick up on that and stimulate a discussion. The meeting is an opportunity for people to express their opinions.

"One of the main reasons for the meeting is to discuss the survey, but it is not constrained to the survey. If fans want to discuss any other matter, then the floor will be open to them.

"The managerial situation is a talking point at the moment and people will have various views on it. If they want to express those views they will get the chance.

"The door is open to anyone representing Inverness Caledonian Thistle to also attend the open meeting."

The meeting takes place six days after Billy Dodds was sacked as manager of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
