BILLY Dodds says Inverness Caledonian Thistle's victory over Livingston in the Scottish Cup fifth round was his best result in his time as manager at the club.
Inverness are now in the draw for the quarter finals which takes place on Monday at 5.30pm.
Dodds says in terms of performance, it was the team's finest game during his time as manager in the last two seasons.
"It is my best result because of the performance for the full 90 minutes, he said.
"Maybe the play-off game against Arbroath when we were down to nine men and we ground out that.
"But in terms of team effort, the players did everything I asked in terms of shape and knowing who to pass on to.
"Also talking to one another and being ruthless with goals and being brave in possession. "We got it all and it is right up there."
Dodds paid tribute to Billy Mckay who scored twice as he is now on 14 for the season in all competitions.
"I love players who listen, not that Billy doesn’t, " he said.
"Billy has been a goal scorer and I think there is so much more to his game and I’ve told him that and his all round play was exceptional.
"It is about the team but when you get two goals like that you have to speak about them and they were two unbelievable finishes.
"I know he is capable of that but I thought his all round play, all action - I thought he was brilliant today, being a pest and I said his goals will come if you do that, don’t worry about your goals. And they did."
