Work starts on removing some of the Spaces for People measures in Academy Street in Inverness

Work today began on removing some of the controversial Spaces for People measures in Academy Street.

Members of Highland Council voted to remove them from Castle Street but opted to retain the bollards, with some modification, in Academy Street, Millburn Road and Riverside Way.
