The business men behind Miele's Gelateria are celebrating after scooping up a top prize at the Inverness Business Improvement District (BID) City Centre Awards, last night.

Brother's David and Michael Miele collected the award for Independent Takeaway of the year at the prestigious ceremony at the Kingsmills Hotel.

They claimed that they could not have done it without the support of their incredible team and loyal customers.

David said: "We are over the moon, and can't believe we've won this award.

"Without the public we don't exist, so thanks so much for always supporting us and going that extra mile to vote for us."

Michael added: "We are proud of our team, everyone has attributed to this."

Miele's Gelateria is based in Church Street where customers can get cannoli's, coffees, and an ever-changing range of gelato, just to name a few things.
