Valentine's Day community coffee morning to be held at Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness

The Eastgate Shopping Centre is introducing monthly community coffee mornings.

A monthly community coffee morning is to be launched at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness with the first event on Valentine's Day.

The aim is provide a warm and inviting space for residents to connect, share stories, and enjoy entertainment.

They will take place on the second Wednesday of every month between 9.30am and 10.30am at the centre's food court. Live music will be provided by Amy Mullen to storytelling.

Centre manager Chris Kershaw said the aim is to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where neighbours can come together over a cuppa, engage in meaningful conversations, and enjoy delightful entertainment.

"We are excited to launch the community coffee morning and provide a welcoming space for our community to come together," he said.

"It's not just about a cup of coffee.

"It's about fostering connections, building friendships and creating a sense of unity.

"We invite everyone to join us, especially on our first event on Valentine's Day, to share the love and warmth of our community."
