Following a recent update by the contractor, Highland Council has been advised that these works on part of the C1056 should hopefully be completed within one day. The closure will now only be in operation tomorrow between 8am and 5pm.

Originally the temporary road closure on part of the C1056 Craggie – Daviot Station – Dalroy – Galcantray – Budgate Road in Inverness-shire had been planned from tomorrow until Thursday between 8am until 5pm each day.

The closure is required to enable road surfacing works to be carried out.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians, cyclists and emergency vehicles, and only then at the discretion and by the instructions of the contractor.

Alternative routes will be available for all other vehicles.
