The C1056 will close temporarily next week for road repairs.

Motorists are being advised of a temporary road closure south-east of Inverness next week.

Highland Council says a section of the C1056 will be closed during the daytime for three days to enable road surfacing works to be carried out safely.

It will affect the section of road between Craggie, Daviot Station, Dalroy, Galcantray and Budgate Road.

The closure will be in operation from Tuesday until Thursday between 8am until 5pm each day.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians, cyclists and emergency vehicles, and only then at the discretion and by the instructions of the contractor.

Alternative routes will be available for all other vehicles.
