Bus services have now resumed in Inverness.

With road conditions improving, bus services around Inverness are resuming after being suspended this morning.

This comes after a day of travel disruption across the region, with a weather warning recently upgraded to amber for snow and ice.

Stagecoach Highland confirmed that buses on the Inverness city network are now on the routes and they will continue throughout the day.

However service 2,9 and 27 will not operate in certain areas (respectively Highfield, Ness Castle and Croy and Tornagrain).
