UPDATE: Stagecoach confirms reason for temporary closure of waiting area

An indoor waiting area in Inverness Bus Station was closed because of the bank holiday, it has been confirmed.

The issue was highlighted yesterday, which was Bank Holiday Tuesday, when passengers were unable to use the area and had to stand outside in the snow.

A Stagecoach Highlands spokeswoman said that, as per their advertised festive opening hours, the area was closed yesterday.
