UPDATE: Police still trying to trace missing Highland teen Scott Shearer from North Kessock who was last seen on Saturday

Police in the Highlands have today confirmed they are still trying to trace a missing 17-year-old youth.

A Police Scotland spokesman said that Scott Shearer "remains missing at this time".

He was last seen around 10.30pm on Saturday in the North Kessock area.

He was described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, with a slim build and short dark hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing grey or black coloured jogging trousers, a light red coloured jacket and a baseball cap.

If anyone has seen him, or has any information as to his whereabouts, or if Scott himself sees this appeal, please contact officers at Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4146 of March 12.
