Police are appealing for help in locating missing North Kessock man Scott Shearer (17)

Police Scotland is seeking the assistance of the public in trying to locate a 17-year-old youth missing from North Kessock.

Scott Shearer was last seen around 10.30pm on Saturday, March 12, in the North Kessock area.

Scott is white, around 5ft. 8 inches in height, with a slim build and short dark hair.

When last seen, he was wearing grey or black coloured jogging trousers, a light red coloured jacket and a baseball cap.

Police say Scott has gone missing before, however, there have been no sightings or contact from him since Saturday and concern is growing.

He tends to visit the Inverness and Caithness areas as he has family and friends there.

Extensive enquiries are under way to locate Scott and officers continue to speak to his family and friends for any information which could assist them.

Officers are also checking relevant CCTV footage for further details.
