All of the Highland Council bus services will resume midday today after they were suspended due to Storm Babet, however Stagecoach have announced that some services have been cancelled.

Highland Council announced on Thursday that all of their in-house bus services were suspended from midday.

Today all in-house Highland Council bus services are set to resume.

A Highland Council spokesperson stated: "This update applies to buses operated by Highland Council. For information on other bus operators in the Highland Council area we advise to check with them directly when planning any travel by public transport."

However, Stagecoach have announced that due to adverse weather conditions there service 30 from Aviemore to Cairngorm is currently suspended.

A spokesperson 'apologised for any inconvenience caused.'

Passengers have been encouraged to keep up to date with the stagecoach app as recent weather warnings issued due to Storm Babet 'may cause slight delays.'
