Inverness is set to welcome Rag’n’Bone Man next summer – a year after his planned 2023 gig in the city had to be cancelled at the last minute.

Rag’n’Bone Man, who is renowned for his deep baritone voice and internationally acclaimed hits, is set to headline the evening at the Big Top Under Canvas on Sunday, July 7, at Inverness's Bught Park.

Rag’n’Bone Man, aka Rory Graham, first hit the music scene in 2017 with multi-platinum selling album Human, which became the fastest-selling debut album by a British male that decade. It also won him British breakthrough act and critics choice awards at the 2017 Brits, as well as best British single for the title track Human.

He has also worked alongside the likes of Calvin Harris and Pink.

Lined up to perform as part of Live in the City 2023 his July gig had to be cancelled due to "unforeseen travel issues" for his band and crew, who were heading north from London but saw their flights cancelled.

Rag'n'Bone Man himself had actually made it to Inverness, but could not perform at the Northern Meeting Park without the rest of his outfit.

Claire Kidger of Live in the City organisers LCC Live said of the rescheduled gig: “We’re so pleased to be able to welcome back Rag‘n’Bone Man after he unfortunately had to cancel his Inverness concert this summer.

"He is an outstanding artist, known for his deep voice and amazing hits, so we can’t wait for him to finally take to the stage and entertain fans with his many hit songs!

"The Big Top Under Canvas is such a great venue and we’re so excited to be bringing such a great performer to Inverness – this is going to be special!”

Tickets for Rag‘n’Bone Man go on sale at 9am on Friday from www.ticketline.co.uk as well as from Caffery’s Menswear in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness.
