TRAFFIC has resumed after a tree fell on a Loch Ness road.

Earlier this morning a large tree fell in the section of the B862 road connecting Dores to Inverness just before Scaniport.

The road was temporarily closed but the hazard has now been cleared and the road reopened.

The B862 will be among the roads to be affected by closures on the day of the Loch Ness Marathon.
