Bar One has reopened with a new name and a new look.

The popular Inverness venue is now called The Imperial.

Owner Cru Holdings made changes after operating the premises in Academy Street for 13 years.

It reopened last night after being closed since early last month for a revamp.

A spokesman for the venue said: "Located within what once was the Imperial Hotel, it is the true definition of a proper traditional Scottish pub, serving up great value drinks in a friendly atmosphere.

"Our love for sport echoes throughout our bar from football to horse racing to rugby to tennis to golf.

"We show multiple channels of all of the action every day on our multiple big screens!

"We have great value drink offers galore, a huge range of Scottish whiskies and gins, delicious pub grub, a new-fangled on-demand karaoke system and live music performances.

"Pop in and you can be sure of a good, honest welcome, and a fun time!"
