Specialist police divers are now involved in the search for a man who fell from a boat in Loch Ness last night.

Two men reportedly entered the water shortly before 7pm last night.

While one was rescued the search for his friend is ongoing.

It has been suggested by locals that the two men were part of a group of four Polish nationals and two women sailing in a yacht called the Miss Adventure and that the missing man fell into the water while answering a call of nature – after which his friend jumped in to try and rescue him.

The rescued man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
