Police appeal for dashcam footage of crash on A96 after woman (73) and two men taken to hospital

Police Scotland have launched an appeal for dashcam footage or any other information related to a serious crash on the A96 at Tomhommie between Gollanfield and Nairn last night.

The incident happened around 7.35pm on Tuesday, November 14, involving a white Ford Transit and a silver Ford Tourneo Connect.

Emergency services attended and a 73-year-old woman, the passenger in the Tourneo, and a 56-year-old man, the driver, were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The van driver, a 37-year-old man, was also taken to hospital.

The road was closed and re-opened around 12.20am on Wednesday, November 15.

Sergeant Christopher Donaldson said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstance are ongoing and we are appealing for information.

“Anyone who saw what happened, particularly if you have dash-cam, is asked to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 3110 of Tuesday, November 14, 2023.”
