Work has begun on removing the controversial Spaces for People social distancing measures around Inverness Castle.

Last week members of Highland Council voted in favour of their removal and restoring two-way traffic in the Castle Street area of Inverness.

Council workers were in Castle Road this morning as they began removing the grey bollards from the road there.
