A warm welcome and good food awaited diners at the return of a Sunday lunch club forced to close during the coronavirus pandemic.
The club, aimed at anyone aged over 60, is run by Caring and Sharing in partnership with the Royal Highland Hotel, Inverness.
After many were anticipating its return, numbers at the first lunch were unfortunately hit due to rising coronavirus cases.
But those who did manage to make it were delighted by the welcome they received, along with the food plus entertainment.
The organisers hope more can make it to the next lunch on Sunday, April 17.
The two-course lunches, costing £5, will be held on the third Sunday of every month.
The club, which usually attracts between 60 and 80 people, celebrated its 10th anniversary in February 2020 – just before the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Anyone who wants to go along to next month’s lunch should call Liz Syred on 07925 145496.
