A HEAVY police presence has been spotted in an Inverness neighbourhood.

Roughly 10 police cars and vans are parked to the front and rear of a block of flats in Kessock Road, South Kessock.

Update: Police hunt hit-and-run driver

It is unclear what incident they are responding to, but photos from the scene show officers at the front and rear of some of the properties.

Police Scotland has been approached for more information.
