Homemade mince pies and a wee dram rounded off a successful Christmas dinner for members of an Inverness lunch club.

The group which gets together at Merkinch Community Centre provides friendship for older people.

One lady who attended the annual festive dinner had recently come out of hospital and had a “wonderful time” connecting with people from years gone by.

The centre’s development manager Elsie Normington provided the entertainment with a sing-along, dancing and a Name The Tune quiz.
