PICTURES: Inverness residents endure snow with more forecast

Residents were today coming to terms with the recent snowfall with more expected this evening.

An amber weather warning for snow has been issued by the Met Office for the Highlands, which is due to end at midnight, and a yellow weather warning will last until 9am tomorrow.

Highland Council has closed a number of schools across the region today.
