Inverness city centre was hit with a fresh covering of snow this morning with two weather warnings still in place for the Highlands.

The amber warning will last until midnight tonight and the Met Office has said people should expect some travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers.

And the yellow weather warning is due to last until 9am tomorrow.
