PICTURES: Inverness performing arts pupils impress with talent at special workshop
Pupils of an Inverness performing arts school were treated to a special class last week.
The performance company at TFX in Inverness had a special guest last week as talent agent and TFX patron Paul Harper-Swan held an exclusive performing arts industry workshop day in the Highland capital.
Mr Harper-Swan is the Scottish head agent for Keddie Scott Associates, a London based talent agency with clients appearing in major shows, as well as artistic director of Insideout Theatre Productions.
With pupils having been hard at work has been hard at work preparing monologues and audition songs, they were eager to benefit from Mr Harper-Swan’s “invaluable knowledge” and expertise.
Amy Crook, Head of Drama and Creative Assistant said: “The evening went so well, each of our students got to perform a monologue or song for Paul and he said how impressed he was with the standard at TFX.
“The students had such a great evening and learnt so much from Paul.”
TFX owner Sally Robertson said she was delighted to have Paul visit and create such an exciting opportunity for our students.
The performance company will be taking part in several events in the Highland capital in the next few months, including the Strictly Inverness Masquerade ball fundraiser as well as Strictly Inverness in May.
