A wheely good time was had by all when people of all ages took to their bikes for a Christmassy bit of fun in Inverness.

Kidical Mass hosted its annual Christmas Ride in Bellfield Park on Saturday, and a whole host of families turned out to enjoy hearing those jingle bike bells ring.

All forms of wheels were welcome – from cycles to balance bikes, and wheelchairs to the event's own bike-powered sleigh!

The ride saw participants wind their way through the centre of town, with the help of Kidical Mass' excellent marshals, before making their way through Ballifeary to the Highland Archive Centre.

Once there, participants got to enjoy a host of games and fun activities, including giant bubbles and novelty bikes.

Kidical Mass is a worldwide movement aiming to highlight the need for cycling to be accessible for all, and Kidical Mass Inverness is proud to be part of this.
