Hundreds of Easter eggs were given away to delighted children during a fun day of games and crafts in an Inverness community.

Smithton Community Council held a special event at the Smithton Hotel to mark Easter.

"We had 300 eggs to give away on the day, also inside the hotel there were Easter games and crafts for the children to take part in," said a spokesperson.

"Many thanks to Peter and staff at the Smithton Hotel for letting us use the hotel. Also to Becky for all the arts and crafts she supplied – the children loved them."
