Gravestones have been toppled and bins have been set on fire at a cemetery in Inverness.
At least nine gravestones at Tomnahurich Cemetery have been pushed over according to a Highland councillor, who has branded the behaviour as disgraceful.
Two bins have been set ablaze as well, with one completely destroyed.
Inverness Millburn councillor Isabelle MacKenzie said the culprits showed no respect.
"Wheelie bins set on fire, nine gravestones pushed over – it is absolutely shocking, disgraceful behaviour," she added.
Firefighters were alerted to a wheelie bin fire on Wednesday at 6.30pm. One appliance was sent and they made the scene safe in just over 15 minutes.
