New Spaces for People measures installed in Academy Street in Inverness city centre with Highland councillors set to be updated on further potential improvements next month

New look Spaces for People bollards have been installed in Academy Street in Inverness city centre.

The work to replace the lane separators with a socket installed directly into the road surface that bollards will be fixed into – meaning they no longer have large bases.

A report updating councillors on further potential improvements to the street, again to retain the space until permanent measures are implemented, will be brought to the City of Inverness Area Committee’s November meeting.
