Police appeal after A9 serious crash at Dunrobin by Golspie

Police are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the A9.

The incident happened on September 30 at Dunrobin by Golspie, where a 49-year-old male rider of the motorbike was taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.

A 58-year-old man, the driver of the Peugeot was uninjured. He was arrested in connection with a suspected road traffic offence.

The crash took place around 10am and involved a Peugeot 2008 and a Kawasaki motorbike.

Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has information that may assist to come forward.

“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please get in touch.”
