Leisure Link Partnership back in time for school holidays - Highlanders with High Life Highland membership visiting other regions of Scotland will be able to make use of facilities at no extra cost

A partnership providing free use of leisure facilities in areas across Scotland – including Highland - is back from Saturday (October 9).
The Leisure Link Partnership allows highlife card holders to access gym, public swimming and fitness classes at leisure centres across Aberdeen, Argyll and Bute, the Borders, Highland, Moray, Orkney, and The Western Isles - all at no extra cost.
Leisure Link was created so that people working away from home or on holiday can use local facilities from participating areas as part of their existing home-based membership.
High Life Highland chief executive Steve Walsh said: “Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we had to put the partnership on hold, but I am delighted to say that it is back and in time for the school holidays.
“This collaboration gives highlife members and their families even greater flexibility to use their cards at partnership sites and all at no extra cost.
“Many of the sites will also offer access to other public sessions where cardholders can take part in activities such as running and indoor climbing.”
Those making use of the scheme are asked to check directly with the site they are planning on visiting and whether advanced booking is necessary.
High Life Highland’s highlife card, provides admission to 23 leisure centres offering a wide range of health and fitness opportunities from swimming to squash courts, climbing walls, fitness suites and exercise classes.
