THE heartbroken father of a missing Easter Ross man has spoken of his determination to find answers to the mystery disappearance of his son exactly one year ago.

Mark Creaney has spent much of his time since Finn was last seen on March 25, 2022 looking for the son who had set out on a planned hike between Loch Naver and Goslpie in Sutherland.

Finn (33), a father-of-two who was building up a successful bushcraft business, was reported missing three days later after failing to turn up.

Despite a number of possible sightings since then and an ongoing search of the terrain he was last seen in, no hard evidence has been found.

Finn's case is expected to be aired on two upcoming television series, Highland Cops, and Channel 5's Vanished: The Hunt for Britain's Missing People, which starts on March 30.

Sharing a video clip from the search site, Mark Creaney said: "As most of you will know it has been a year today since Finn went missing on a hike between Loch Naver and Golspie in Sutherland and we are heartbroken, just heartbroken. Heartbroken as we are we just want you to know that we are still going out looking for him. We are not giving up.

"We're not going to give up – we can't give up – until we get an answer to the mystery of what happened to Finn. At the moment we kind of focusing on the first day of his hike and how far he could have got by foot that first day in any direction. We have gone out searching and we have used drones to cover the ground and see if we can see anything by air that might give us a clue to where he has been.

"We are just not giving up. I hope soon we will get some positive answers. It's difficult. We miss our boy and we want him home and we're going to make sure that happens. I would also like to thank everybody for their support and everyone who has helped and came up and searched with us or donated to the GoFundMe or just sent us messages of goodwill and support. It all helps."
