Ness Castle Primary and Nursery School in Inverness is closed due to a broken heating system.

The £15 million school opened in February, following delays.

The school and ELC were also closed yesterday and parents have been warned they are "most likely" to be closed tomorrow as well.

A Highland Council spokesperson said: "Ness Castle Primary is closed today, the heating engineers are on-site and we will provide an update ASAP."
