An Inverness nail technician has been made a finalist in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2024.

Tegan Smith (22) recently found out that she made the shortlist for the rising star award and will soon go down to the finals in Birmingham in June.

Based at Rumours Boutique in Union Street, she was first nominated before having to submit a video of the work she has done.

Speaking about being a finalist, Tegan said: “I was shocked as I didn’t expect to be shortlisted. This is the first award I’ve been up for since I’ve being doing nails.
