Inverness date announced for popular whisky festival as event returns to Eden Court
The Scottish National Whisky Festival will return to the Highland capital this summer for its third consecutive year.
Event organisers have announced the schedule for the day, with tickets on sale for the day-long festival on Saturday, June 29.
Gareth Croll, festival co-ordinator, said: "We can't wait to hit the road again this year and bring the Scottish National Whisky Festival to Inverness, one of our favourite parts of the country.
“As always, we are excited to partner with some of Scotland’s most celebrated distillers, bottlers, bars and artists to create an unforgettable celebration of Scottish culture today.
“This year we’ve gone all out and promise to deliver our biggest festival series to date – do not miss it, see you there!"
Festival-goers will be able to sample hundreds of whiskies from world-renowned distilleries and independent bottlers, explore exciting guest spirits and experimental flavours across the exhibitor line-up and indulge in tasty creations from world-class mixologists at the event’s cocktail pop-ups.
A key feature of the event series, which runs events in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen over the year, is the specially-curated bill of live music - focusing on local artists and talents, alongside seminars from speakers and industry experts across each session.
An on-site whisky shop will also be provided in partnership with partner retailers Woodwinters.
