Inverness cafe set to branch out with new Wee Whisk venture at former Chit Chat deli

A popular Inverness cafe is set to open a new branch in the Drakies area of Inverness next week.

The team behind Whisk Cafe announced yesterday that they will be taking over the former Chit Chat unit, after the deli unexpectedly closed down last summer.

Owner Nyomi Dixon first opened Whisk Away in Inverness in 2021 – relocating to Queensgate in late 2022 – and last December took over the running of a new cafe and Deli in Cawdor.

The new deli and cafe Wee Whisk will be opening on Thursday, April 25 at the Culcabock Road premises.

On a post shared on social media, the owners said: “As rumours have started circuiting and we near the opening day time to announce that we have taken over the old Chit Chat unit.

“The team have worked very hard on this and we can't wait to welcome you here and hopefully it is the new place to be.”
