Inverness has had its fair share of pride events through the years, and The Inverness Courier wanted to give you a look back at some of the fun memories!

Highland Pride have just announced the highly anticipated date for the summer march and event, taking place on June 11.

They did one of the largest pride events in Scotland back in 2019, which was their first march.

They have had to cancel the marches two years in a row due to coronavirus related restrictions.

In 2019 crowds enjoyed a march, live music, a bar, a dog show and speeches.

Highland pride, formerly Proud Ness, host a variety of events year round like drag night fundraisers and yoga classes.

More than 10,000 people turned up for the 2019 event, more than Glasgow and Edinburgh's attendance that year.
